Upwork Huddle:
Simply, Upwork Huddle means Upwork Get-together. In this case, only Top-rated and Rising Talent freelancers were allowed to attend this event. Saiful Islam, a Dhaka Top-rated Freelancer, with assistance from Upwork organized the huddle. Upwork Premier Club actively cooperated to make it a success.
Objectives of Upwork Huddle:-
The objective of Upwork Huddle was pretty simple and clear:
- Connect
- Socialize
- Share stories
- Fun together
Date and Venue:
Upwork Dhaka Huddle was organized at HubDhaka, Mirpur on March 17, 2017.Event Inside | Event's Insight.
Registration.
On reaching the venue, all attendees were asked to register in a form by themselves in a computer. It was well-planned and helpful for retaining data of the top-rated freelancers attended. Good job!Introducing part.
Event organizer Saiful Islam introduced himself first along with two other senior associates of Upwork Premier Club- Tareq Mahmood and Jewel Rana Akash and informed the program schedule. Soon after, he invited all attendees to introduce themselves one by one. This call was for a short-intro on name and skill category they are working.The session went well. But some freelancers took much time to share their stories here. The young organizer Saiful Islam was found quite decent in his attitude. His informal way of self-introduction was just fine. Tareq Mahmood and Jewel Rana Akash contributed in this session much.
Coffee Break and Networking.
Coffee break and networking session turned the event truly into a huddle. Participants took the break and talked each other, took selfies and chatted. Tareq Mahmood had his keen eyes on to ensure everybody is entertained.This session went fine but could have been more productive if skills-set were badged /segmented as one of the freelancers was also mentioning this point.
Sharing Stories/ Experience.
A good number Freelancers shared their success stories/ experience. The stories were interesting, inspiring, funny, advice type and even heart-touchy. Jewel Rana Akash aired this session through facebook live.Fun Session.
Games /performance were arranged in this session. The session was very interesting and freelancers had had tremendous fun. This was a great relief for the workaholic freelancers!Group Photo Session.
Finally, group photo session took place to capture great moments!Conclusion.
Upwork Huddle, Dhaka was a great opportunity to get out of hard-working freelancers' daily routine and had some really good time- fun time. Meeting each other, knowing each other, interactions can take anyone to next-level of skill performance. Well down Saiful Islam, Tareq Mahood and Jewel Rana Akash.
