Payoneer Dhaka Forum | An Attendee's Review

Payoneer Dhaka Forum:

I had no idea over what would be the itinerary of the event but expected something worthy for the Freelancers/Outsourcers of Bangladesh. In this review, I would not go for commenting on invitation procedure (management) and hassles the invitees encountered! That has already been a much "talked about".

Event Inside | Event's Insight.

My views are totally the inside program. What the event presented? Represented? How the things are managed?

Okay! I would go point by point:

Welcome Session:Welcome session by Shoyeb Mohammad and Emrazina Islam was just good with an informal tone. But the logistics at the beginning was awful. Projectors were not working. Logistic Assistance was not  standby.

Presentation Session:
  •  Future of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Considering the latest technological development, the topic was very important. The topic wisely chosen. Personally, I was impressed by the subject matter. However, the presentation by Mr. Jakir Hossian was not up to the mark. It is assumed that he was not prepared well for such the presentation. It seemed that he was just reading out the topic. There were hardly any engagement.

  • Future of Affiliate Marketing, Automation and Passive Income: Very good  subject choice. Passive income can only make the life comfortable at a certain age. Presentation by Mr. Al min Kabir was just awesome! He had the complete control over the whole audience. Attendees were totally engaged with the session. And, Mr. Al Amin Kabir was also quite successful in making the topic an 'easy grasp' through convincing conversation. WELL DONE!
  • The Joys of Motherhood as Freelance Artist. Freelancing is an art indeed. The topic was a good choice with a view to encouraging Women Freelancers of the country. Presentation by Ms. Emrazina Islam was good in natural mode.
  • Motivation to Work as a Freelancer.  Without a positively motivated mindset, freelancers cannot produce good results. Presenter Ms. Farah Nazifa put her effort well.
  • Importance of Understanding Local Culture for Doing Business.  Every freelancer knows it very well that understanding Client's mindset and culture plays a vital role. Discussant was Mr. Sufi Fauq Ibne Abu Bakar. The way of his story-telling was impressive. The Audience was in engagement. Effective!
  •  Healthy Ways of Selling Skillsets Online.  Presentation by Mr. Shoyeb Mohammad was quite useful. Freelancers' practical problems and ways of dealing difficulties effectively were discussed.

Question & Answer Session:  This session could have been more efficient. In this session, talks and apology by Mr Rifat Ahmed, Payoneer Bangladesh was really praiseworthy.

Overall Logistic Support:  Logistic support was not as expected. There were several instances where logistics were failed to give instant support.

Recommendation for Future Event:
  • Keeping representatives from renowned Freelancing /Outsourcing providers/ Training providers may be invited to the event to share their role and possible involvement.
  •  Successful Freelancers / Outsourcers might be given a session for Experience Sharing.
  • An interaction session (not Q/A) may be kept for networking and socialization.

Writing: My Passion.

I love writing. I love writing passionately. This passion was primarily for fiction writing but over the time it has transformed or extended to genre. Now, I write articles, feature, technical or any of good demand.

From Newspaper to Community Blogging.

I started my writing with print media at my childhood while growing up at my childhood kingdom . With the advancement of technology and online access, I engaged myself with community blogging in Bangladesh. I blogged in almost all main community blogs of Bangladesh. I wrote here mainly in Bangla; I contributed in English too in some cases.

Some of my community blog profile is here:

One of my poems:

THE SHORE MISTAKEN

I had no river of my own ever
Passed my numerous celestial evening in vain
At ruthless run on the brim of ocean of the golden suburb
Failed to get a mere touch of water
Adore of sweet and sublime aqua…

My boundless desire for dive deep in the water
Aqua-caress
Remain out of the border-mark of the reach-circle.
“Water, Water”- immense wailing
Heart turns dry cracked piece of wood
Amphredite witnessed
No clue of fabrication.

In the midst of time-space,
My breathless run does not decay
I do never lost my amour in waste-mind
I am today- this golden dawn
Standing at the brink of long-desired ocean,
Take water handful, sip the ambrosial ahh
Drank the full – as ad vitam thirsty me.

Ah it inflames inside
Burns my entire heart
Tacit lamentation turns heart a cinder
My heart breaks down at the wrong shore.
Feared I rush back
Keeping behind the sigh of flaming mistaken ocean.

A Little About Myself: My Childhood Kingdom and me!

AHS Shohel Ahmed

My Childhood Amid Green

Green! Green!! Green!!
All you can see is green. From the very first landing of your eyes to the last horizon- all green! All lovely natural scenery around! And above the head - the shed of the blue sky!
My Green Space

Yes! this amazingly beautiful nature is my birthplace. Therefore, before starting about me, it is my village- my childhood kingdom comes first!

Hello World! It's me!

Hi World! I am AHS Shohel Ahmed. I do welcome you and thank you for stopping by! Hope you would get  a good sense of the inspiration for my blog.  I have have been living my life with very positive attitude to everything in the world and everything happens in the course of life.   I am currently based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. But I have my real fascination for my childhood Kingdom still fresh at my heart.

Me at my teens

In Nature's Nurture.

I started my childhood playing with the beauty of nature. My toys were clay, mud, soil, grass, leaves, trees, forests and so on! My mornings were glorious with ray of the sun on the leaves of trees, the mild sunlight just kissed the nature with great love. I could feel all these. I ran on the free ground amidst the green.

Wanna Touch the Sky!

I wanted to touch the sky that seemed to dropped nearby- at some distances. I once, not once many time I went out home without telling my mom only to touch the sky. I went, went, and went. But the sky moved, moved and moved away!

My Schooling.

The sky moved away from me

Started my schooling at the village school. It was a total  tin-shed construction and about  two kilometers away from home.

As I mentioned I grew up amid nature and by the nature. An artist mind was growing inside me from the very childhood. I could say instant rhymes, poems from my own to my fellows and mates.

Writer from the Childhood! Haha

From my school days, I started writing rhymes, poems and short stories. My first poem was published in  a magazine. Then I started writing on the newspapers. I wrote more than 200 rhymes, poems, articles and short stories in the local and national newspapers.

Reporter of the Newspaper.

Beside being a good student in academics, I became familiar in the locality as well as among the newspaper readers and newspaper concern people.

In the mean time, started writing news reports for a newspaper of Gazipur. I have contributed there as article and feature writer as well beside producing reports for them.
I also took a training organized by the newspaper authority on the newspaper reporting. These are all during my student life.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

POWERFUL SEO TIPS FOR THE WEBSITE

SEO is pretty important when it comes to gaining rank and having a good website. If you know nothing about it, then you really need to find out as much information as you possibly can. Here are some powerful tips that can get you some search engine love if you work them:
1. Content is important – in fact it’s the KING. Google has been penalizing sites that don’t provide any value to visitors. Perfect example – the affiliate site which is a mirror of the product page and has duplicate content. Duplicate content will send your spiraling into oblivion if you had any decent rank at all to start with. Don’t copy and paste, don’t spin your content, write something of value.
2. Keywords Matter. If you have a website for your business, focus on using keyword phrases that include your locale. Example: Victoria Car Wash, instead of car wash. Car Wash  is too basic a term and does not specify any particular thing. You have no hope of getting any rank with a broad term such as that. A Geo-targeted keyword that includes the locale you want to target is your best bet.

3. Linking Back. Trying to Get Google’s spiders to crawl your site? You can submit a link to Google and ask for the crawl, but you won’t get any action for many long weeks. Instant results are possible if you can get a link back to your site from a quality site that is related to your site. In other words, if you have a website about dog food, don’t link to a site that sells baby clothing. Everything should be relevant on your site and sites that you link to.
4. NEVER over-stuff keywords. This used to work twenty years ago, but now it is bad, bad, bad. Search engines will actually penalize you for keyword stuffing and it is an out of date practice. Catch up to the new and current times with the concept of quality content.
5. Regular Update. SEO is not a set and forget process. Actually, it takes constant work, and the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. Make a plan to add content once or twice a week if you have time, it only takes about 20 minutes to add a great post.
6. Domain Registration. When you register a domain name, consider NOT using the option to block the information about yourself owning a site. Search engines can detect this and might consider you a spammer, which is the worst possible thing that can happen to your site.
7. SEO in a nutshell: content, links, reputation and popularity. These all play an important part in your search engine ranking.
8. Quality Linkage. Avoid paying for thousands of poor quality back-links. What you need is good quality links. Search for blogs that have similar content to yours and make quality comments (the give) and leave your link (the take).
These are a few basic tips, but there are plenty of ideas and tips out there. The main idea is to keep an open mind and read as much as you can. SEO is always evolving and the best way to keep up with it is to keep adding quality content!
